Overview
Memorial Health System is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Houston, TX. You'll deliver direct care to critically ill adults in a 28-bed medical-surgical ICU, monitor hemodynamic status, titrate vasoactive drips, and collaborate closely with intensivists and respiratory therapy.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for a typical 2:1 patient assignment.
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic and ventilator data; escalate appropriately.
- Administer and titrate vasoactive and sedation infusions per protocol.
- Document accurately in the EHR and participate in interdisciplinary rounds.
- Support families through high-acuity and end-of-life situations.
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or compact eligible).
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience.
- BLS and ACLS certification; CCRN preferred.
- Comfortable with high-acuity, fast-paced environments.
Compensation & benefits
Estimated $2,400–$2,900 per week (base + non-taxable stipends, varies by experience and housing choice). Weekly pay, day-one health coverage, travel reimbursement, and state licensure assistance.
